Bathroom Remodeling

Remodeling - Bathroom Remodeling A bathroom model is not just one of the most desirable home improvements you could make to your Albuquerque, NM area home, but also one of the most affordable. Since the bath is usually one of the smallest spaces in your home, and there is such a wide selection of fixtures and accessories to choose from, you should be able to have a great looking bathroom on a shoe string budget. Spending a little extra on high quality fixtures that retain their looks for years is a practical investment that will add to your home value in the long run. As life gets busier and more complicated, home buyers look for homes with luxurious bathrooms that double as personal sanctuaries of quiet.

home remodeling contractor in Albuquerque, New Mexico Even if you can do without a tub in your bath you can't possibly neglect installing a shower. A bath shower remodel depends first and foremost on the space available to you. If you have a large bath, no restrictions apply, and you can quickly turn your shower into a personal spa. Choices in shower stalls in these days are extensive, and range from large 2 person stalls that eliminate the need for waiting for your turn, and spa-like stalls with a ledge to sit on. If you have a smaller sized bath, however, a stall may or may not be a viable option. Don't sacrifice functionality for looks -- if a stall won't fit into your bathroom, don't install one. Instead, choose a detachable shower or slide shower that allows you to shower in a small space. If your bath already includes a bath tub, a tub-shower combo is a perfect choice.

Installing a new bath tub as part of your bath remodeling can give you great value for money. Home buyers will look for at least one bathroom with the tub included, and if you can have an expensive tub like a luxury whirlpool tub or an antique tub, you will find that it enhances the interest in your home. Bath tubs are available in a variety of materials these days. Light weight materials like acrylic or enamel steel are not just more affordable, but also easy to install. However, if you insist on a cast iron tub as part of your bath tub remodeling, remember that your bath floors may have to be strengthened or buttressed before any installation can take place. If your budget allows, consider a whirlpool hydro massage system that takes the tub to a whole new level. In these hectic times, people look for luxury features in bathrooms that allow them to enjoy a spa like atmosphere right in their home without the need to visit a professional spa. This makes a whirlpool tub a high ROI bath feature.

We own an old home (1942) near downtown / heights area, around 1110 sq. ft. We have plenty of room on our lot to add a master suite in the place of our second driveway, we would also like to add on the utility to have it inside the home instead of out in the garage. I have plans drawn up but need blueprints done, I am an interior designer so I have a pretty good idea of what I want but am definitely open to idea's / changes. We are excited about making this addition to our home sometime in the next year, we'll have to before we have a second child. I feel that I need to get the ball rolling now so we know what we're talking about time wise and money wise. Please call / contact me with any questions. thank you.
